Keep the blend correct
Follow the equipment procedure and remove blended refrigerant from the cylinder in the liquid phase unless the manufacturer states otherwise.
Start with a clean system
Repair leaks, pressure-test with an approved inert gas, evacuate correctly and weigh in the specified charge.
Compatibility is mandatory
Use only in equipment specifically designed and labeled for R454B. It is not a universal top-off or automatic drop-in replacement for R410A, R32, R22 or any other refrigerant. Never mix refrigerants.

Handling and storage
Keep the cylinder upright, secured and in a cool, dry, ventilated location away from heat, flames, sparks and direct sun. Read the cylinder label and current safety data sheet before handling. Refrigerant can displace oxygen, cause cold burns and create dangerous pressure if mishandled. Never intentionally vent refrigerant.
