APPLICATION CHECK

Built for the correct system—not every system

Common compatible work

  • Compatible truck and trailer refrigeration units
  • Approved low- and medium-temperature condensing units
  • Selected commercial refrigeration equipment
  • Documented conversions from R404A or R507

Confirm before ordering

  • The refrigerant is approved for the exact equipment model and end use
  • Compressor and lubricant requirements are satisfied
  • Temperature-glide and control-setting changes are included in the service plan
  • The prior refrigerant is fully recovered and the system is correctly relabeled
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE NOTES

Plan the charge before opening the valve

Follow an approved procedure

Use the equipment or component supplier retrofit instructions; do not rely on refrigerant pressure alone.

Charge in liquid phase

R452A is a blend, so liquid removal is required to maintain its intended composition.

Validate under load

Confirm discharge temperature, superheat, subcooling and control response across the operating range.

Compatibility is mandatory

Use only in approved R452A systems or documented retrofit applications. Do not mix with R404A, R507, R22 or any other refrigerant. Lubricant, expansion device and control compatibility must be confirmed before conversion.
