R407C is an HFC blend used in compatible air-conditioning, heat-pump and medium-temperature refrigeration equipment. It can also support carefully engineered R22 conversions when the equipment, oil and controls have been fully evaluated by a qualified professional.

Use the correct dew-point or bubble-point value for superheat and subcooling calculations.
For retrofits, recover the existing charge and complete every required oil, seal, label and control change before commissioning.
R407C is not a direct top-off for R22 or any other refrigerant. Never mix it into an existing R22 charge. A retrofit requires documented equipment suitability, full refrigerant recovery and verification of lubricant, metering and control compatibility.
Bulk refrigerant sales in the United States are restricted. Proof of the applicable Section 608 or Section 609 technician certification—or documentation that the purchaser employs a properly certified technician—may be required before fulfillment. The purchaser is responsible for satisfying federal, state and local rules for purchase, transport, storage and use.
Keep the cylinder upright, secured and protected from high heat or damage. Store in a cool, dry, ventilated location and follow the safety data sheet. Refrigerant can displace oxygen, cause cold burns and create dangerous pressure if mishandled. Never intentionally vent refrigerant.
