PROFESSIONAL SERVICE NOTES

Plan the charge before opening the valve

Maintain blend composition

Charge from the cylinder as a liquid and use controlled metering into the system when necessary.

Tune after conversion

Verify superheat, subcooling, discharge temperature and control operation under the expected load.

Label the equipment

Record the refrigerant, charge quantity, lubricant and conversion date for the next technician.

Compatibility is mandatory

Do not mix R407A with R404A, R507, R22 or any other refrigerant. A change of refrigerant requires an approved retrofit plan and may require oil, seal, metering-device and control adjustments.
