Avoid mixed charges
Do not top off a contaminated or unidentified circuit. Recover, diagnose and recharge correctly.
Protect system performance
Use clean, dry service tools and follow the equipment superheat, subcooling and charge-weight procedure.
Compatibility is mandatory
R404A is not interchangeable with R22, R407A, R452A, R507 or other refrigerants without an equipment-specific retrofit plan. Verify compressor, lubricant, seals, controls and expansion-device suitability before any conversion.

Handling and storage
Store secured and upright in a cool, well-ventilated location. Protect from physical damage, high heat and direct sunlight. Consult the safety data sheet before handling. Refrigerant can displace oxygen, cause cold burns and create dangerous pressure if mishandled. Never intentionally vent refrigerant.
