Follow A2L controls
Ventilate the service area, control ignition sources and use equipment approved for mildly flammable mobile refrigerants.

MODERN MOBILE A/C • A2L
R1234yf is a single-component HFO used in compatible modern vehicle air-conditioning systems. The 11 lb cylinder provides a practical shop quantity for trained technicians servicing vehicles whose under-hood label specifically requires R1234yf.
Clear identification matters. Compare these details with the equipment nameplate, service documentation and cylinder label before connecting service tools.

Ventilate the service area, control ignition sources and use equipment approved for mildly flammable mobile refrigerants.
Use dedicated couplers and identification procedures; never connect to a system containing R134A or another refrigerant.
Mobile A/C charge tolerances are precise. Use calibrated equipment and the vehicle label specification.
Use only in vehicles and mobile equipment labeled for R1234yf. It is not interchangeable with R134A, R152A or R12 and must never be mixed with another refrigerant. Do not bypass unique service fittings.
Bulk refrigerant sales in the United States are restricted. Proof of the applicable Section 608 or Section 609 technician certification—or documentation that the purchaser employs a properly certified technician—may be required before fulfillment. The purchaser is responsible for satisfying federal, state and local rules for purchase, transport, storage and use.
Store upright, secured and ventilated away from ignition sources, high heat and sunlight. Protect the valve and follow the cylinder label, current safety data sheet and facility rules for A2L refrigerants. Refrigerant can displace oxygen, cause cold burns and create dangerous pressure if mishandled. Never intentionally vent refrigerant.
